Who served as the live action model for the animators of Snow White in 1937's "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" by Walt Disney Studios?

Question #125015. Asked by mehaul. (Feb 05 12 10:29 PM)

Marge Bell (who would later become Marge Champion) performed live-action reference for the animation of Snow White, directed by Hamilton Luske. When it was decided that Snow White should have a slightly larger head than normal, Bell was made to wear a football helmet to make her head appear larger.

    Betty Lawyer Kimball

She also provided live-action reference modeling for the title character in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs when the live-action model, Marjorie Belcher, was unavailable.

Marge Champion is Marjorie Belcher. See above.

Belcher, perhaps more widely known as Marge Champion, was the live action model for Snow White. Later, she was the model for the Blue Fairy in Pinocchio.

In Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs are the dwarfs related to each other or they are just diamond-digger friends that share the house?

Dopey did not sing, "Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to work we go" in the Disney version of Snow White because he was mute. Did Grumpy also not participate because it wasn't in his nature to sing a cheerful song? I'm curious because one of the Fun Trivia quizzes asks how many dwarfs sang the song and I answered "five". According to the author I was incorrect.
