Is there any episodes of the Simpsons that does not feature at least one member of the main family?

Question #125094. Asked by Joepetz. (Feb 12 12 11:08 PM)

Not thus far. Perhaps the closest you'll get is this one:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/22_Short_Films_About_Springfield

The family shows up intermittently, but it's more about the town than just the family.

The same goes for the first two vignettes of the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Simpsons_Spin-Off_Showcase
The third features most of them (minus Lisa) and (sigh) Tim Conway.

There's an episode that doesn't feature Bart, actually.

"Four Great Women and a Manicure" is the only episode of the Simpsons thus far where Bart is not seen or even mentioned outside of the opening.
