    If I am digging in my garden, which I own outright, and uncover a chest of $20 gold coins dating from 1910, can I keep them for myself?

    		Only if they once belonged to the little people. Joking apart I would think they would be regarded as treasure trove the same rule that applies if valuable items are found on land belong to a farmer

    		Each nation has different laws for found treasure. This Wiki article gives a good explanation.
