Which U.S. state has been named in the most Supreme Court Cases?

Question #125703. Asked by Joepetz. (Apr 13 12 9:52 AM)

    gtho4

This page at supremecourt.gov has a search facility for all cases decided by the US Supreme Court:

    http://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/casefinder.aspx

It'll take a while but if you go through all 50 states and count through each search result, you'll find the answer. You need to count carefully as the results page includes non-state answers as well e.g. Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Corp
