Which Irish born soldiers are buried in the british military cemetery in Be'er Sheva, Israel?

    Question #125776. Asked by gentlegiant17. (Apr 23 12 5:44 AM)

The Machal, or as one source (linked below) defines them: "all those who left their permanent homes overseas anywhere in the world and enlisted voluntarily in the defense of the Yishuv or of the fledgling Jewish state, and intended or were free to return to their lands of origin on completion of their service."

Ireland is one of the countries from which Machal came.

I'm afraid the answer is not related to the question.

Machal soldiers fought with the incumbent Israeli Defense Forces during the War of Independence. As such, none of them is buried in the British military cemetery in Be'er Sheva.
