What is the average spend per head per week by a UK citizen on food, cigarettes and lottery tickets ?

Question #125777. Asked by cornfield. (Apr 23 12 8:35 AM)

Recent surveys seem to lump tobacco in with alcohol and narcotics, and lottery tickets aren't separated out. The figures are also on a household basis. A story from 1995 http://www.independent.co.uk/news/spending-on-lottery-lower-than-expected-1578301.html provides the breakdown then:
    [weekly spending totalling 283.60 pounds/household]

    "Food: pounds 50.40
    ...

    ...
    Tobacco: pounds 5.60

    Miscellaneous: pounds 2.30

(lottery spending not included as it only covers the quarter Jan-Mar 1995 when it was pounds 2.10 per week)"

The comparable 2011 survey (based on 2010 figures) of the average 473.60 pounds spent/week/household is at http://www.ons.gov.uk/ons/rel/family-spending/family-spending/family-spending-2011-edition/general-nugget.html. Again, it does not break the figures down to ideally suit this question.
