    		In the Somerset v Hampshire county cricket match in July 1899, the Hampshire innings total of 7 dec./672 became the highest county score without a bye being conceded. 43 year old A. P. Wickham was the Somerset wicketkeeper.
    This county record stood until 2002, when Jack Russell kept for Gloucestershire against Northhamptonshire, who scored 9/746, without a bye being conceded.
