In the movie Back to the Future II, Biff Tannen and his grandson Griff Tannen are antagonists to Marty McFly. Is Biff Tannen's son--Griff Tannen's father--ever mentioned in the BTTF series?

According to this website, he's mentioned in a sign at the Cafe 80s, in the window. His name is B Tannen jr. I'd have to find the film to check this (it's somewhere in the garage in a box).

When Marty enters the Cafe 80's with his mission to say no to Griff, a sign is visible in the window informing patrons that "B. Tannen Jr., Franchisee." (Which puts to rest the debate, perhaps, about what Biff's son is named. Yep, the filmmakers indeed saw him as a Biff Jr. Poor child.) In the Cafe, Marty runs into Old Biff, who mistakes him for Marty Jr., and rants a little about his lot in life.
