    Are there humorists in China?

Question #126780. Asked by urbankheki. (Sep 12 12 2:21 PM)

A Chinese humorist would answer "Sure: Lmao Tse Tung"...

There's a comedy club in Beijing, though I think that may be in English.
Zhou Libo is a current and famous stand-up comedian in Shanghai:

Wang Shuo is a current noted satarist, though you wouldn't call his writing humorous:

As the trend towards more commericial literature grows over the last decades, writers have become more light-hearted and escapist.

Another funny answer: "Yeah, there used to be two or three, but they are already imprisoned."

But, basically, it's a very serious question.
