    What did the 10,2 and 4 means on old Dr.Pepper bottles and why were they removed?

    It was purported by their marketers to be the times of day that you should drink a Dr Pepper - 10am, 2pm, and 4 pm.

    Can only imagine that it was dropped as being stale. (In other words, don't have a clue to the second part of the question.)

    Dr Pepper was considered initially to be not so much a pick-me-up as a digestive aid. Some say that the original recipe included pepsin, which is a digestive enzyme, though Dr Pepper, from what I have heard, has denied this. But by drinking it at 10, 2 and 4 it aided in the digestion of breakfast, lunch and dinner. At least this is what I was told by my Mother, who was a true Dr Pepper fan...
