    How often, worldwide, does a car accident occur? (e.g. every 10 seconds, every 1 minute,...?)

And if it's all summed up in a yearly basis,there are 5.25 million driving accidents that take place per year", quoted from the USA Coverage insurance website (http://www.usacoverage.com/auto-insurance/how-many-driving-accidents-occur-each-year.html). Other estimates range from 1.6 seconds to 10 seconds, with U.S. estimates averaging anywhere between 5 to 30 seconds (these all include minor fender-benders to those involving injuries/fatalities). I really don't think an accurate figure will ever be known, as so many minor accidents are never reported.
