    Which of the first 31 states, if any, have had a Republican majority for their entire history, from 1854 -2012? (The Republican Party, also called the GOP, began in 1854 when there were 31 states in the union.)

    Republican majority in what sense? Electoral votes? If so, the answer is none. The only two states that never voted for FDR are Maine and Vermont, and they along with most of the country voted for LBJ in 1964.
