    How many times did George Stenbrenner fire a manager while owner of the New York Yankees? And how many different managers were fired?

    		It's not always clear whether a manager was fired or resigned for personal reasons, but there were 23 managerial terms from 1973-2010 and most of the first 20 terms are regarded as firings. Not counting Joe Torre and Joe Girardi, the final two managers who were clearly not fired, there were 14 different managers fired.
