Was there ever a female minotaur or other mate for the minotaur?

With reference to Greek myth, it appears that the Minotaur was a one-off, the result of the mating of the mortal Queen of Crete with a bull sent to her husband the king as a gift from Poseidon. The Minotaur was later slain by Theseus.

I would point out that the Avlis link is to a wiki about "a persistent world running on Neverwinter Nights" ("a third-person role-playing video game" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neverwinter_nights) - in other words a modern fiction rather than an ancient myth. http://wiki.avlis.org/Main_Page As the question says THE Minotaur, I'd say no, there wasn't a mate. None was recorded by the Ancient Greeks, anyway, and they are our only source for the 'real' Minotaur.
