    		Tom Hanks has won two Oscars, the first for Best Actor for his role in Philadelphia in 1993 and another Best Actor award the following year for his role in Forrest Gump. He is only the second actor to have achieved consecutive Oscars, the first being Spencer Tracy who won his in 1937 and 1938.
