What does "I'm all cried out" mean? Isn't it a bit grammatically strange?

Question #128378. Asked by aussiesalute. (Dec 12 12 6:45 PM)

It is possibly related to the informal usage "to cry one's eyes out", meaning to weep uncontrollably. When your body stops producing tears after a lengthy crying session, you have run out out tears, and may say that you are "all cried out".
