What is the highest scoring Major League Baseball game decided by a single run?

Question #128432. Asked by Datsmeharse. (Dec 16 12 8:38 PM)

On May 17, 1979, the Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Chicago Cubs by a score of 23-22 in 10 innings.

It does not directly say in the following link (nor anywhere else I have found yet) that this game is the highest scoring MLB game decided by a single run. However, it does mention that there was only one other game in which two teams scored more runs. That game occurred on August 25, 1922, when the Cubs beat the Phillies 26-23. Therefore, you can deduce that the 1979 game is the answer.
