After the Christmas story, the Bible is silent on Joseph. There are a couple of passages in the Gospels which mention Jesus's brothers. The book of James in the New Testament is generally recognized as being written by Jesus's brother James. James the brother of Jesus (not James the Apostle) was one of the leaders of the Early Church.
Matthew 12:46 is a verse that mentions Jesus's brothers.

Some believe Jesus' brothers were children of Joseph and Mary, some believe they were children of Joseph by a previous marriage, and some believe they were children of a different couple (in which case they would literally be cousins).
