    What gift did Casper bring?

    Question #128554. Asked by bandperry13. (Dec 22 12 5:27 PM)

Caspar (one of several alternate spellings) brought frankincense for divinity. He was not a Friendly Ghost- he as one of the Magi.

Keep in mind, though, that wise men (Magi) are not named in the Bible, nor does it state that there were necessarily three of them. The face that there were three named gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh has led to the assumption that there were also three magi. The Western Christian church identifies Casper as one of their names, but this is based solely on tradition.
