Weissmarc, I've searched high and low and can't come up with a definitive answer on this. The only thing I can suggest is that it would be in the range of jillions. Sorry...

There is no single definitive listing tat I can find, but here is what I have pieced together.
First, the calorie value of whale meat varies between species, and even for meat from different parts of the same animal, but these sites give a range of values between 100 and 132 Cal per 100g of whale meat.

Second, the amount of meat to be found on a blue whale will obviously be somewhat variable from one specimen to another. This site says that one blue whale yields the same amount of meat as 50 head of cattle.

Third, the amount of meat from one beef animal is also variable, but can be approximated as about 500 pounds.

Putting these together, one blue whale would produce roughly 2500 lbs, or 1134 kg, of meat. Using an average calorie value of 116 Cal per 100g, or 1160 Cal per Kg, we end up with a food energy value of around 1,315,540 Calories from a blue whale. Give or take a few hundred thousand.
