    The Birds have it 184 to 180 as there are a total of 364 presents

    I have it as 184 birds to 140 people. (The golden rings are neither)

    12 partridges
    22 turtle doves
    30 french hens
    36 calling birds
    42 geese
    42 swans
    Total = 184 birds

    40 maids (milking)
    36 ladies (dancing)
    30 lords (leaping)
    22 pipers
    12 drummers
    Total = 140 people
