When a reporter is doing a story outside when it's cold like on the Weather Channel why can't you see their breath, they aren't really outside are they it's just a film on the screen?

Question #128680. Asked by endoverend. (Dec 30 12 3:06 PM)

    nautilator

When I was out today and breathing through my nose, there wasn't any fog. However, when I covered my nose with a balaclava, my glasses started fogging up from the heat.

The temperature difference between the two probably has to be above a certain amount for there to form visible fog.
