The Wikipedia reference for the Hindhead tunnel proclaims it as the longest non-estuarial road tunnel in the United Kingdom. Not quite the longest, both the Kingsway and the Queensway tunnels under the Mersey estuary are longer road tunnels - and yes the Queensway tunnel is the longest of these.

Looks like it - 2.01 miles against 1.14 miles.

I took the questioner to be asking for the longest tunnel under land rather than under water. I don't much like tunnels at all, but have had to venture through both the Wallasey and Birkenhead tunnels many times. I usually let the train take the strain, though. The last time I drove through the Queensway tunnel was unintentional, thanks to the satnav which decided a trip through Liverpool in the middle of a Saturday afternoon was the best route for me to get home to Wirral from Yorkshire. It wasn't.
