What 2 words were trimmed by 10 percent when Readers Digest did its thing on the bible?

Question #129013. Asked by endoverend. (Jan 17 13 12:20 AM)

A google search of "Reader's Digest Bible" reveals that there are plenty of copies around, in pristine condition, but there are few reviews. What the reviewers do note, however, is that the Reader's Digest version omits "Chapter" and "verse", but this doesn't do much to reduce the physical size of the Bible. Here is one interesting review from a Bible lover. ohttp://sundrytimes.wordpress.com/2008/12/02/a-curiosity-the-readers-digest-bible/

Does anyone know if an experiment ever took place over a number of years concerning the "eat five and stay alive" where those that ate fruit and vegetables every day had not one case of cancer, where on the other hand, some who never ate any fruit and vegetables did contract cancer? I think I remember reading something about this in Readers Digest years ago, can't find a thing about it though.
