The above submission is not correct. The reference is to flags of Islam countries that contain a crescent (moon). However Singapore, Western Sahara and Lbya (Islam Country , new flag) are national flags that contain a crescent

the crescent moon and star is an internationally-recognized symbol of the faith of Islam. The symbol is featured on the flags of several Muslim countries, and is even part of the official emblem for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. The Christians have the cross, the Jews have the star of David, and the Muslims have the crescent moon

The above submissions are both incorrect. The question is a national flag with a moon, not just a crescent moon.
Palau has a national flag with a full yellow moon.

To clarify, the crescent is a representation of the moon through the moon god of several cultures.

Acknowledging the previous submission this would bring the total of nations with a moon on their national flag to 15

While many flags have a crescent representing Islam, there are other flags with full moons (e.g. Palau) and some with very small moons/crescents within coats of arms (e.g. Croatia). According to this site, 20 in total: http://worldflagsportal.com/flags-with-moons.html
    "Half moon-
    Algeria
    Azerbaijan
    Brunei
    Iran
    Comoros
    Croatia
    Libya
    Maldive Islands
    Malaysia
    Moldavia
    Nepal
    Pakistan
    Singapore
    Tunisia
    Turkey
    Turkmenistan
    Uzbekistan
    Full moon-
    Laos
    Mongolia
    Palau"

This list does not include Western Sahara or Northern Cyprus, which are not generally recognised. A notable omission in this site's list is Mauritania http://worldflagsportal.com/mauritania-flag.html, which clearly should make the total 21.
