    There are pver 20 players who share the record of four doubles in one game. Gavvy Craveth and Albert Belle are the only two to do it twice.

    According to baseball-almanac.com, four doubles in one MLB game has been achieved 51 times since 1880:

    2 American Association
    25 American League
    24 National League

    Albert Belle and Gavvy Cravath have achieved this feat twice (being four of those 51). Belle did it in the same season:

    Gavvy Cravath NL Philadelphia 08-Aug-1915
    Gavvy Cravath NL Philadelphia 23-Jun-1919
    Albert Belle AL Baltimore 29-Aug-1999
