The Nehru jacket as worn by the Indian premier of the early 60's. Waist length with a high stiff collar, it was adopted for a time by British hippies. Chairman Mao wore a similar type of jacket, but of a very drab colour and poor cloth, not like Nehru's, which was made of a glossy silk.
