Aside from the Philippine flag which is flown upside down when the Philippines is at war, what other countries of the world do this?

I think this is a general rule for all flags. It certainly applies to the Union Jack, the flag of the UK, which can be flown upside down to indicate an emergency. But the Union Jack is almost the same when it is upside down. Many countries, such as Ireland, France and Italy have flags which are exactly the same upside down. And I think the flag code of the United States forbids this practise for the stars and stripes. Oct 01 01, 1:27 PM
