The movie indeed was "PICTURE MOMMY DEAD" starring Zsa Zsa Gabor as the mommy, who is strangled by her husband played by Don Ameche. In order to cover up her father's horrendous act, the daughter Susan, played by Susan Shelley, sets the mansion on fire. After several years of being instituted, Susan is released, and her father, now married to Susan's former governess (Martha Hyer), takes Susan back to the mansion. The new wife has used up her hubby's money and will do anything to get hold of Susan's half million dollar inheritance, and begins a campaign to send her back to the institution. Susan goes a little bizarre, and thinks maybe she murdered her mother. There is a valuable diamond necklace which Susan hides in her dolls stomach. At one point, she draws a picture of her mother, and the picture bleeds. It is indeed a terrifying thriller, at least in the eyes of a child from the 60's. The haunting song is called "The Worms Crawl In" by Schoolyard Blues. The lyrics are as follows: The worms crawl in, the worms crawl out, The worms play pinochle with your snout The worms crawl in, the worms crawl out Into your stomach, and out your mouth They eat your intestines, they scramble your heart Now you fell like you're falling apart This is how it is to die You end up looking like apple pie! Did you ever see a hearse go by, And think you could be the next to die? They put you in a little box, Cover you up with dirt and rocks They take you to the family plot And there you stay, to stink and rot. I'm looking for information on an old TV show from the late 60's or early 70's that appeared on public broadcasting. It was referred to as 'experimental TV', and I think the name of the show might have had the word 'strawberry' in it. This show had no characters or plot in the usual sense, but it was mainly about a guy who's stuck in a room or a box and has nothing but a chair. There was very little action and the whole thing was quite surreal. Does anyone else remember this show? I'm looking for the name of a movie with an Asian girl and a white guy as the main characters. I can't remember exactly what it was about, something like the world was ending and right before everything went down they shot each other in the head and there is a big white bright flash in the movie. Does anyone know what movie this is? Back in the 1950's I remember my mother had something called a 'blue bag' in the laundry - about an inch square and wrapped in muslin. Used, I think, for making sheets etc white. What could it have been made of?
