    If the theory that flurocarbons in aerosol cans caused the depletion of the ozone layer, why is the so-called 'ozone hole' in Antartica?

    Because it is one of the axises of earth the ozone layer was thinner there than in other places. In other places the revolution of the earth spread the flurocarbons.
