    In the Notre Dame Cathedral's "Portal of the Virgins" there is an interesting bas relief with seven circles under the dead virgin. What do the circles represent?

    During my last visit to Wrigley Field, I noticed two circular dirt patches, on either side of home plate. These were not the on-deck circles, as they were located closer to each dugout. Are they the original on-deck circles or do they serve another purpose?
