    Which traditional Christmas delicacy is shaped to ressemble a manger and is believed to originate from the Vatican?

    		Originally mince pies were made of meats and fruit and shaped like the crib. When Cromwell banned Christmas and all such things the pies were made in rounds so as not to look frivolous. Once Christmas was re-instated the pies remained circular as they were easier to handle.
