    Was Magnus Magnusson born in Edinburgh or Iceland - I've found different sources giving different answers?

    		From Review of Magnus Magnusson's autobiography, I've Started So I'll Finish -

    'About the Author:-
    Magnus Magnusson KBE was born in Iceland and worked for The Scotsman after an Oxford degree. He made his name presenting the BBC's Chronicle series, then came Mastermind in 1972.'

    I should think an autobiography would have the correct info, but admittedly the above is an extract from the review of the book, and not from the book itself.

    The same site says this his KBE is honorary, so that makes the Iceland theory stronger.
