    In 'The Simpsons' does anyone know what has happened to Ned Flanders' wife? Did she die?

    		Yes, she died quite a long time ago, in an accident. See:

    In a later episode, Ned builds a Disney-land style memorial to Maude, which isn't very successful.

    		The Simpsons and the Flanders, were at the car races. During the race, there were girls (kind of like cheerleaders) shooting t-shirts at the crowd. Homer was yelling about not getting one. At the same time, Maude decided to get some hot dogs. Right when the t-shirt was about to hit Homer, he bent over. The t-shirt hits Maude, knocking her over the grandstand ledge, killing her. What a way to go. Poor 'Neddy' felt guilty, because his last words to her were, 'no foot longs' :(
