The name of her father was Jacques Darc and she was christened Jehanne (Joan), after her godmothers Jehanne Royer, Jehanne de Viteau, and Jehanne 'the wife of Mayor Aubery'. So she was Jehanne Darc that later became d'Arc that translate in English 'of Arc'. Well, I hope it's clear.
