HRH Prince Charles can claim no descent from William II or Elizabeth I as neither of these monarchs had any issue, legitimate or otherwise. But records suggest that Richard II, Edward V, Edward VI, Mary I, Charles II, William III, Mary II, Queen Anne, George IV and Edward VIII all died without any legitimate issue.
