    Sorry, my question got scrambled in the ether. It should read: It cost about 311000 pounds sterling is 760 feet long and 80 feet wide and replaced the Regent. What is it?

    		I discovered that a new lock on the Welland Ship Canal measures 760 ft x 80 ft, which is apparently the size of lock large enough to accommodate ocean-going ships.

    I also found that Vauxhall Bridge replaced Regent Bridge over the Thames River in London but Vauxhall Bridge is less than 80 feet wide.

    I don't know whether this info is any use but it may act as a starting point for someone with more staying power than I have. I searched for A G E S!
