Just to add a bit more info - The Cro-Magnon (Homo sapiens sapiens), c. 100,000(?) years ago, completely resembled modern humans. Although usage of the term Cro-Magnon strictly applies only to those who lived in southwestern France, it has been used by many to generally describe Homo sapiens sapiens that lived everywhere else. Their skeletons were discovered in a rock shelter in the Cro-Magnon valley, Lez Eyzies, southwestern France, in 1868.
