    Found the following on www.dawnscurrency.com/denominations/hundredthousand.html

Ok, so suppose you come by a {$100,000} note. What could you get for one?

Probably 20 years. Turns out that the {$100,000} Gold Certificate was to be used strictly for funds transfers between banks and other financial houses. It was not to be used for actual palm greasing, although it's hard to imagine that it ever could have been used as such.
The single issue of the {$100,000} note was the Series 1934 Gold Certificate.

{$100,000} Note (Face) - Woodrow Wilson (28th U.S. President) (Back) - Numeral 100,000 and the ornamental phrase 'One Hundred Thousand Dollars'. This note never appeared in general circulation, and was only used in transactions between Federal Reserve Banks.
