    What is petrified wood?

Question #17538. Asked by me. (Mar 21 02 7:50 PM)

    mk2norwich

According to my dictionary, petrification is defined as the conversion of organic matter into stone, so therefore I can only guess that the answer to your question is, quite simply, fossilized wood.
