The most basic definition of Pi is that it is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. This is not the definition of its value, which can be expressed as a mathematical series that produces an infinitely long number.

Also, pi (alternatively "pie") means an amount of type that has been jumbled or thrown together at random. In verb tense, it's to jumble or mix up, or to become jumbled.
