    I am sure there are many valid answers to this depending on the criterion you select. Sector is the only one that starts with a letter from the second half of the alphabet. The (Ford) Escort is the only one with wheels. A Coster is the only one that will sell you vegetables.

    The point I was trying to make, perhaps not very well, is that many odd one out questions are flawed because there is no stated theme in the question. The answers I gave were just to try and illustrate this point. I prefer questions that start with 'In terms of ...... which is the odd one out', so if for example we know that the setter is thinking of famous battles then we don't start looking at the number of vowels in each word.

    In this case the answer given by Los Cojones is the 'most correct' and certainly the one that the setter had in mind, but I am sure that the brains that visit this site could could argue for an altenative.
