    Well, I'm basically looking for something that isn't hollywood style action thing, I don't mind what genre or anything like that, just something that's worth watching... My favourite films if it helps are:
    Requiem For A Dream
    American History X
    Trainspotting

    How about 'Naked Lunch,' 'Sleuth,' or a recent HBO film with Emma Thompson, 'Wit???' These films are bizarre, playful, and morbidly 'witty' (in the order listed).
