I had never heard of it before today, but I am sure you can find what you're looking for at their site. Polls consistently show that roughly ten percent of everyone in the United States has an atheist or agnostic view of God, the few thousand of us who actually belong to atheist or agnostic organizations don't speak for more than a small percentage of our 'fellow travelers.' See: http://www.agnostic.org/WHY_A.html

Although I do not consider myself an agnostic, here is a brief summary of the principles of agnosticism. Basically, an agnostic differs from an atheist in that he or she is prepared to believe in the existence of a creator (God) if they are given sufficient evidence of His presence, or in other words, I do not believe in God, because I cannot see Him, but if He will reveal Himself to me in a physical form, then I would have undeniable proof, therefore I would be able to believe in Him. Christians are different from agnostics in that they have faith without proof. I hope this makes things clearer for you.

Agnostics believe that there may be a God but that his existence has no relevance to modern life.
