I read in 'Greta Garbages's Outrageous Bathroom Book' that Darryl Hannah is missing a finger and that Andy Garcia was born with an underdeveloped twin the size of a tennis ball attached to his shoulder. This book doesn't give any sources and I doubt these statements. Can anyone back them up or prove them wrong?

I have also heard that Darryl Hannah is missing PART of a finger and uses a fake when on screen. Whether this is true or Hollywood myth I don't know.

It is true about Andy Garcia... I was watching Jerry Springer a while ago and they had an episode about circus 'freaks'. Anyway, I was on the internet, and I was surfing around (as you do) and on my travels I found this website:

It might seem a bit dodgy...that the website is a bit too much like those gossipy newspapers you have in the US, but if you go to a search engine and type in Andy Garcia parasitic twin, a whole lot of websites will come up. Plus the condition that Andy Garcia was born with is called 'parasitic twin syndrome' and I first found out about it on South Park.

Andy Garcia had a parasitic twin at birth, which was attached to his shoulder. It was removed years ago, but he still has a scar on his shoulder of where his twin was attached. I found this out at

Hannah is missing part of her left index finger. In a 2001 story in The Sunday Times of South Africa, Hannah explained: "I got my finger stuck in the pulley of a well at my grandmother's house when I was three." Good luck spotting the missing digit onscreen: it's almost always hidden behind gloves, coats, guns, etc.

In the book "Bad Twin" by Gary Troup, what is the title/author of the detective book Paul and Manny discuss? They say that the crime appears to be solved early in the book, but it later turns out that all the assumptions were wrong, and the detective has to start all over.

I once read a book by the successor to Bernard Spilsbury, sometimes known as "The Father of Forensic Pathology". The author's name was, I think, Dr. or Professor Keith something or other. Can anyone help out with his full name? It was the question about Christie (#84135) that got me going there. The book in question threw doubt on Evans' innocence as the author had performed a PM on Mrs. Evans exhumed body.
