Does anyone have a translation (if indeed there IS one) for that strange repeating loop on The Beatles' 'Sgt. Pepper' album, which is heard at the end of the last track, 'A Day In The Life' on side two?

The repeating loop does not have a translation. It was made by taking reject tape, cutting it up and splicing it back together randomly with some parts backwards, so any resemblance to a phrase of English is complete coincidence. Apr 02 02, 7:37 AM

And by the way, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds is not a reference to LSD. The name was invented by John Lennon's young son Julian who had just drawn a picture with this title. Apr 02 02, 7:39 AM

On the Sgt. Pepper's album the Beatles actually name one memeber of Sgt. Pepper's Band - who is this person? The info with my CD of "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" claims that after the last piano chord of "A Day in the Life" has finished comes "a few seconds of 15 kilocycle tone, put there especially to annoy your dog at the request of John Lennon." My dog didn't respond to it. Has it worked for anyone else, and is it on more recent versions? What was the name of the 1970's toy that was used with matchbox cars? It was mainly a long white plastic track which you attached one end of to the table and then it had a loop and then continued. It was put together by attaching the various peices of track together with little bits of red plastic that threaded under the track. It was available in the UK in the 1970's. Can anyone remember what it was called? When the photo of the album cover for Sgt. Peppers was being taken, the Beatles decided to take one figure out at the last moment. Who was that figure?
