I do not know if this answers your query but I found the following, dated 1996, from:
http://www.lcshockey.com/issues/LCS47.txt
Game One recap: Paul Coffey scored both of Detroit's goals, and one of Colorado's. In fact, when the game headed to overtime tied 2-2, Chris Osgood had yet to be beaten by a Colorado shot. Coffey accidentally redirected Stephane Yelle's pass squarely into Detroit's own goal. Colorado's second goal was scored by Adam Deadmarsh, who crashed the net. The puck went in off somewhere on his body, and was not disallowed by video replay. Detroit had to play without its most outstanding player during the playoffs for much of the second period, and the rest of the game. Captain Steve Yzerman suffered some sort of an injury, and did not return after the second period. The team says it is a groin injury, but no one outside the team knows for sure. Yzerman made a trip to the hyperbaric chamber as soon as he could remove his equipment, and proceeded to watch much of the remainder of the game from it. About halfway through the first overtime period, Colorado grinder Mike Keane unleashed a wrist shot from above the face-off circles that somehow found its way between Chris Osgood's body and arm, and into the net. The goal almost seemed like Jon Casey's revenge: beaten by a long shot which would normally be stopped. However, the abnormal suddenly ended the game, and put Colorado up in the series: Avalanche One, Red Wings Zero.
