I agree with Jeeves but would question the word 'never' as the natural life expectancy of a pig is about ten years, whereas sows in factory farms rarely live more than two and one half years.

I take it to mean that they never wear out. Pigs spend their whole lives rooting for food with their noses and they just never wear out.
