This states: "St. Peter's actually has two claims to fame – the first and most important being that it was here, on Saturday 6th July 1957, that John first met Paul. It was a mutual friend, Ivan Vaughan, who had suggested that Paul come to the Church fete to see a skiffle group, the Quarrymen. After the event, the band went over the road to prepare for their evening gig in the Church Hall, and Paul was introduced to John. Paul recalls that John seemed impressed by the fact that Paul could tune a guitar, and could play 'Twenty Flight Rock', one of John's favourite songs.
