On BBC Radio here in the UK the programme 'Round Britain Quiz' used to (and perhaps still does) feature a round in which 'poems' were put together in the way you describe. These were always referred to as 'mixed stanzas'. Whether this is the correct term for such 'compositions'I do not know but I have never heard them referred to as anything else.

Does RBQ still exist? I haven't heard it for a couple of years now. Definitely the greatest quiz ever on the air. Another word is 'cento', which is the Latin word for a piece of patchwork (the Latin plural is 'centones', the English is 'centos'). Strictly speaking, according to the dictionaries, a cento can be a literary work of any kind, but in my experience it's always a poem.
